These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute the primary legal agreement governing access to and use of the SafeBuyAfrica marketplace platform, website, applications, payment channels, buyer protection services, seller onboarding systems, and all related digital services operated by SafeBuyAfrica.
By accessing, registering on, browsing, buying, selling, paying through, or otherwise using SafeBuyAfrica, every user agrees to be legally bound by these Terms of Service and all supplementary SafeBuyAfrica policies referenced herein.
These Terms apply to all buyers, sellers, visitors, merchants, logistics participants, and other users of the Platform.

By using SafeBuyAfrica, users agree to all such policies as updated from time to time.
2. Platform Nature
SafeBuyAfrica is a protected multi-vendor online marketplace that facilitates monitored transactions between independent buyers and independent sellers.
SafeBuyAfrica provides:
- listing infrastructure,
- protected checkout systems,
- transaction supervision,
- buyer protection workflows,
- payout routing,
- dispute handling,
- compliance monitoring.
SafeBuyAfrica is not the direct manufacturer of listed third-party goods unless expressly stated.
3. User Account Registration
Users may be required to register and maintain an account to access certain Platform services.
Users agree to provide accurate information and maintain confidentiality of login credentials.
SafeBuyAfrica reserves the right to suspend accounts containing false, incomplete, or misleading information.
4. Buyer and Seller Relationship Rules
All transactions initiated on SafeBuyAfrica are subject to SafeBuyAfrica monitored order procedures, payment verification systems, protected settlement conditions, and platform dispute controls.
Buyers and sellers agree not to circumvent SafeBuyAfrica transaction supervision.
5. Payment and Protected Settlement Structure
Buyer payments processed through SafeBu checkout are subject to protected transaction supervision.
Seller settlement may be conditional, delayed, reviewed, adjusted, or withheld in accordance with SafeBu Buyer Protection, compliance review, and payout rules.
Buyer payment confirmation does not create an immediate unrestricted payout entitlement for sellers.
6. User Obligations
Users agree to:
- provide truthful information,
- comply with all SafeBu policies,
- transact in good faith,
- avoid fraud or manipulation,
- respect dispute procedures,
- maintain lawful use of the Platform.
7. Fees and Platform Charges
SafeBu may charge buyer protection fees, seller transaction fees, processing deductions, promotional charges, or other disclosed marketplace fees.
Applicable fees may be revised periodically.
8. Account Restriction and Termination
SafeBu may suspend, restrict, review, or terminate any account where:
- policy violations occur,
- fraud is suspected,
- KYC fails,
- prohibited activity is detected,
- regulatory or payment partner concerns arise.
9. Intellectual Property
All SafeBuyAfrica branding, software, transaction workflows, logos, content structure, and platform materials remain the exclusive property of SafeBuyAfrica unless otherwise stated.
10. Limitation of Liability
SafeBuyAfrica provides monitored marketplace infrastructure but shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, speculative, or consequential losses beyond the specific transaction handling obligations expressly assumed under Platform policies and applicable law.
11. Indemnity
Users agree to indemnify and hold SafeBuyAfrica harmless against claims, losses, damages, liabilities, or expenses arising from user misconduct, unlawful listings, fraudulent activity, or breach of Platform policies.
12. Governing Law and Platform Authority
These Terms shall be governed by the laws applicable within the Federal Republic of Nigeria, subject to SafeBuyAfrica's internal administrative dispute handling rights.
13. Modification of Terms
SafeBuyAfrica reserves the right to revise these Terms of Service at any time.
Continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of revised Terms.
